Three schools of healing, one pastors’
conference, and 12 other meetings saw
thousands touched.
On or 21st trip, the team of 15
were kept busy. Highlights:
Judy: This Hindu priest who lived next
to Pr Daniel’s slum church. He hated
Christians, and banged his drum during
services. His fire [accidentally] burnt 42
houses and the church.
But Pastor Daniel helped rebuild
their house, and he and his wife
decided to follow Jesus! She was also
deaf-mute. I laid hands and she was
starting to hear and speak.
Barry: We saw a change after we cast out demons from Santosh, a boy with cerebral
palsy. His was smiling and a lot more responsive. Would love to see more, but any
progress is good.
Two weeks later, Pastor Youbaraj Rai wrote, ‘Santosh is little bit ok now. We are
praying for his total healing. We are blessed by the School of Healing. Our members
are practicing in the church, doing same that Jesus has done. Thank you for your care
for Santosh.’
Anne T: John laid hands on a little girl. She immediately fell, and we cast out demons.
Her face was radiant when free.
Robyn: The sheer number of people’s lives touched with healings. I also stepped out
with prophesy. I felt I broke through that mental barrier.
Anne M: The prophecy with the pastors, especially the guy who’d been in jail three
times and who received three prophecies all the same!
Mark: Being be amongst the Nepali people, and just seeing the power of group
dynamics in those conditions.
Karen: Deliverance, because previously I’ve shied away. I feel John’s teaching has
finally made sense! Another highlight would be the team unity.
Ruth prophesied over Pr Richan. Her words confirmed his plans plant a church
among the temples of Bhaktapur. He emailed, ‘I wanted to express my deepest
gratitude to you and your team for your time, effort and willingness to minister to the
people of Bhaktapur, not only in words but also with the demonstration of
compassion and healing. Your way of teaching was simple to understand; yet
profound.’
